After thoroughly enjoying our time at the beach, we packed up our bags and headed to inland Florida.
On Monday (Benjamin & Joseph's 2nd birthday) we went to Disney World!
It was HOT (104 heat index) and there were lots of people, but we soaked up as much fun as we could.
Some highlights...
The boys talking constantly about "Mickey Mouse" and "Pooh Bear"
The boys' huge eyes on the rides &
their sad protests when they had to get off!
Benjamin kissing on all the stuffed Mickeys he could get his hands on & also insisting everyone else kiss on them too {grin}
Riding the merry-go-round just like in Mary Poppins (their favorite movie!). Joseph is still talking about this. He will say "Horsey, Mary Poppins, Mickey Mouse horsey, Disney World..." all in one long sentence.
Joseph's look of wonder during the lights parade. Seriously, his amazement made all the effort of the day worth it!
2 Different times we were given "fast passes" (Disney World's way of allowing a cut in line) by complete strangers. I can't say enough how much they blessed us by giving us the chance to experience 2 things we couldn't have otherwise enjoyed!
The boys' Disney World buttons that announced to everyone that it was their birthday. All day the workers said "happy birthday" to them & we met some other children celebrating their birthday's too.
