The Day Benjamin & Joseph Turned 3

What a fun day we had celebrating your THIRD birthday!

You had requested. . .

Lots of people singing "Happy Birthday",
Rainbow ice cream, and
A balloon.

I love how little it takes to make you so very happy!

Our morning and early afternoon was pretty normal.  We had 2 other little ones with us for the day & you all played just like 2&3 year olds do (pool, dress up, and tons of imagination!)

Then after Daddy come home from work, the extra special times started.

We had a small gift for each of you.

Thanks to a friend giving me a heads up on these, I was able to purchase some Melissa & Doug puzzles way back around Christmas for 50% off.  I kept them hidden until today.  

Then Mommy made a quick run to the dollar store and arrived home with a BIG surprise

BALLOONS!!!

You both loved them.  Joseph, you were to the moon with excitement and didn't let go of your balloon for over an hour.

Do you know how impossible it is to get a good picture of a toddler with a balloon?!!

Both sets of Grandpas and Grandmas called and sang "Happy Birthday" to you.

After a little dinner, we left and headed to TCBY for a some rainbow ice cream.

We saw an actually rainbow on the way in!

 The kids serving is a pretty good size, and while both of you loved it, neither of you finished it.

Uncle Nate & Aunt Pam were able to join us.

You love them so much!

We also tried for a quick family picture.

That went as well as it usually does! {grin}
