Accomplishment & Brotherly Love

"Energy and persistence conquer all things" ~ Benjamin Franklin

~ . ~

Joseph, from the moment we got to the park today you were determined you were going to conquer the rope ladder.

You tried right away and fell a few times, went on to play something else, but then came back to it.

I love how you stick your tongue out when you are concentrating really hard on something.

And oh the look of success and joy when you made it!
You were so proud!

 Not to be outdone, your brother also had to give it his best effort.

He struggled just a bit, but didn't give up, and with a few steadying hands from mommy he also was able to climb up to the top.

Once the skill was mastered you had to go again and again.
Joseph, you usually made it to the top first, but you would wait for Benjamin so you could hold hands and slide down together.  {love}

 I just love watching you learn, explore, accomplish, and share!

LOVE. I especially like how the boy with the Bandaid on his face is the daredevil, determined to conquer. So BOY. And the waiting for Ben & holding hands in the sunshine = priceless.
XOXOXOXOXO,
