I am going to make this quick & head to bed. Since Thursday morning sleep has been scarce, so I am eager to tumble into my own, comfortable bed.Most people who read this blog are also my facebook friends, so you know that Thursday Benjamin got very sick with a stomach virus (vomiting & the other end too). He began to reject all food & drink. Because he has Type 1 diabetes he became critically ill very quickly & an required an IV to get the hydration & sugar he needed. We spent Thursday night in the ER & last night he was admitted & we stayed until this evening.
Thankfully Benjamin is past the worst of it now. Not 100% well, but much better.
We are so happy to be home & past the scary low blood sugar numbers.
I may choose to share more details tomorrow, but for tonight..."Good Night"
P.S. One advantage to having a brother with diabetes is the yummy treats. When Benjamin's # went low we bought sugary treats (that we don't usually give the boys) in an attempt to get Benjamin to eat something that would raise his #'s.
Benjamin would take none of them, but Joseph was in 7th heaven & had a serious sugar high!

Such sweet boys! Praise the Lord Benjamin is doing better! Aren't you so glad we live close to a wonderful hospital and not in a rural area--especially during winter! Praying he will keep getting stronger! Joseph looks like pure sweetness in his picture! :)
Oh my goodness!! Glad to hear he's starting to feel better now though. Sweet, sweet pictures.
